You can check the travel websites (Expedia, Orbitz, etc) to try to find a deal on a rental car. But if you don't have a credit card, you better have a debit card with the Visa or MasterCard logo on it. It doesn't stop there. You're also going to have to quite a bit of money on it, as some rental companies allow debit cards, only unless there's a substantial amount available for a deposit, somewhere up to $400.Where can I find a cheap rental car without a credit card?

Most car places don't accept anythingo ther than a credit card. IF you have a debit card with Visa or Mastercard logo with at least a $250 available balance that'll work too. If not then very few will accept a $250 cash deposit. I believe $250.00 is the deposit amount at least in California





You may want to hit up a independent rental company and not a big timer like Hertz, or Enterprise. Someitmes the smaller companies will work with you.

expedia.com - spec on the dollar rent a car. it will not ask of any credit card information but it will reserve the car for you.
I don't think any car rental company will rent to someone w/out a credit card.
Usually if you want to rent a car and want to pay cash the rental car companies will ask for an additional deposit and they will require you to take the insurance on the car, as most credit cards carry insurance. You also have to be 25 and they will not let you rent the luxury vehicles.
