Cheap rentals on video games? Help?
Me and my friend were wanting to rent free wii games,, so we tried looking on gamefly, but it is llike 15 or 16 dollars a month, and we only wanted to pay about the same amount as netflix which is only about 5-10 dollars a month. If anyone could find anywhere like gamefly that is just a little cheaper please let us know! Thanks!!

No late fees ever, and the option to keep the games you like at discount prices, most rental stores wont do that.

Cheapest rental truck to move from Florida to California?
I don't know anyone who wants to help me move cross-country, so I need a really cheap truck to help me move my stuff. All I am moving are my clothes/accessories, shoes, and a box filled with papers and notebooks. I am leaving behind my furniture and tv. Best wishes on your upcoming wedding and marriage. I am not from NYC, and can't help you with that. But I do want to tell you that sometimes you can buy the things you are planning to rent cheaper. I bought my daughter's flatware at our local dollar store for less than the cost to rent it was. I made the linens for less also. Try Ebay and do you have a SAM's club. I never did a see a Walmart when visiting your wonderful city. But buyer clubs are wonderful for wedding shopping. We had a $25,000 wedding on a $10,000 budget. We worked our butts off, and I enlisted friends and family members for different projects, but it was beautiful. We had a girl's night with strawberry daquaris and wrapped silverware. White russians one night and we made favors, My friends gave my daughter a personal shower and we ended up having a ball doing the bird seed bags. I order alot of stuff online. There is so many cost cutting ideas, it take imagination and researching, but well worth it. You are doing the right thing about asking for help with renters, because someone might know of somewhere you can just rent everything together in one lump some. I hope to get back to NYC one day, I took my daughter there for New Year's Eve right before the big day. It was quality time for just us, God bless us all.....
PS...two bits of advice from a Mother who had 5 daughters....get a notebook...and start you a list of everything that needs to be done...I mean everything from picking out napkins, questbook to hiring a band. It's never too early to start calling for a appointments. Everytime you do something on your list--cross it off. This is what saved my mind, my trusty always had it handy notebook...I felt like I was making progress everything I got to mark another chore off that list.
Second peice of advice.....don't forget this is YOUR and the man you are marrying most happy special day. Make it something very special for each of you, but don't go so over board that you are so tried, frustrated, and just don't care anymore that you don't enjoy the day! Pamper yourself a little!

Canberra property is at a premium, so a lot of people end up sharing to lessen the costs. I don't know what your situation is, but if you want something for that price sharing is your best option.

I'm going to give you the same info I gave to another person a while back on a similar question...
There are a few different things to consider when deciding on where to live in Calgary: cost (including buying versus renting), where you are working or attending school, social needs, and personal likes/desires.
Calgary is basically separated into four quadrants: NW, NE, SE, and SW.
Broken down into the four quadrants, here are the pro's and cons of each:
NW - Very desirable area, good schools, close to university and technical college, excellent proximity to mountains (which results in excellent mountain views from most of the communities in this quadrant), hilly (as opposed to flat), very good access to downtown (corporate sector), good access to LRT (Calgary's public transit train system), fairly expensive homes (approx $450K to $700K for an average home). Some of the most desirable family communities in the NE are Tuscany, Royal Oak, Arbour Lake, Citadel, Rocky Ridge, Edgemont, Hamptons.
NE - Lots of ethnic shops, schools, churches (the vast majority of Calgary's muslim community resides in the NE), highest crime rate in Calgary, good access to downtown and LRT, not very close to post secondary institutions, flat as opposed to hilly, least expensive area for homes (approx. $250K to $400K for an average home), good access to the airport (which can also mean increased noise). A fair bit of industrial businesses call the NE home. Some of the ';least desirable'; areas in the NE are Martindale, Taradale, Falconridge, Pineridge, Marlborough. Some of the better NE communities would include Panaroma Hills, Coventry Hills, Harvest Hills and Evanston.
SE - This one's tricky... the further South you go in SE, the nicer the areas tend to be, like Douglasdale, Lake Chapparal, New Brighton, Lake Bonavista and Parkland (all of which have homes in the $500K to 900K range) but all of which also have some serious commuting issues to getting downtown. The shopping and schools are good there, but there's limited access to post secondary. The further East you go in SE, the scarier the neighborhoods get - Dover, Forestlawn, Forest Heights and Pembrooke should be avoided if at all possible - though these areas are the cheapest (houses range from $180K to about $250K) that comes with a multitude of problems that just aren't worth it if you can avoid that area. Additionally, the bulk of Calgary's industrial sector is in the SE.
SW - Desirable area, with good access to both downtown and the mountains (and the promise of a new LRT route being built in the next few years to that area, improving the access to downtown even more), good shopping and schools, good access to Mount Royal College, some issues with Native Tribes concerning a future ';ring road'; planning to be built through native lands, some flat and some hilly areas, fairly expensive housing (approx $450K to $800K for an average home. Some of the most desirable (And expensive - $800k plus!!) communities in the SW include Licoln Park, Palliser, Pumphill, Strathcona, St Andrews Heights and Tanglewood. Some of the more modest communities in the SW include Cedarbrae, Woodbine, Shawnessy and Sundance.
Rent in each of these areas will vary, of course, but on average, you can expect to pay anywhere from $1000/mth to $1800/mth for an average 2 or 3 bedroom condo, not including any utilities, and considerably more if you're thinking of renting a house. If you're looking for ultra cheap, then you might be better off renting a room in someone's home (approx $400 - $500/month), or perhaps a shared accomodation setting (around $500 - $800/month).
Now, having said all that, where you eventually settle will depend a lot on your personal preferences. Personally, I live in the NW and I really like it up there - hubby and I both work downtown, and our morning commute takes about 25 minutes... slightly longer to get home in the afternoon. Great schools for our teens, and close to the University when the time comes. Excellent shopping and recreational facilities. Love going camping in the mountains during the summer, and skiing in the winter. You could choose to settle in one of Calgary's ';bedroom'; communities, like Okotoks (south of Calgary), Airdrie (North), Chestermere or Strathmore (both East), or Cochrane (West), but the housing prices are about the same, and the extra commuting time can make it prohibitive.

My uncle just recently lost his wife (34), son(3), and his place of residence due to a fire in their apartment. If you live in Spartanburg, SC you know what fire I'm talking about. I am going home to visit ( Tampa Florida) for a week (feb 8th-16th) Im going to rent a car while im there but Im having trouble finding one for less then 300...Dose anyone have any tips, tricks, advise for someone that has never rented a car before? That's a pretty long drive. Since you are going to be leaving the truck in your new state and not taking it back to Washington, I think you are going to have to go with one of the major places. I don't think you will have much luck finding anything under $1000. You might see if they would do a little negotiation with you. See if they can ';cut you a deal';?

You also may go into one of the local UHaul places instead of checking online only. The local place may be able to get you a better deal, whereas the online quotes are strickly by the numbers.

We were going to travel the east coast for a vacation - Airfare to New York or Washington DC for 4 was more than twice what I paid for airfare and a car, even with the fuel costs. I am driving from Denver to Fargo and am driving straight thru so I will only need the car for 24 hours. I am not very good at internet searching but the prices seem to vary a lot. If you happen to be flying into Denver on a busy day, rates could be much more expensive than if you were flying in a few days later. There are tons of coupons, like David said, but there doesn't appear to be any current coupons valid for one-way rentals. So you're out of luck on that. It looks like the best you could hope for is to get airline miles/points with your rental.

There are some picnic spots that would let you reserve with alcohol allowed (call your Parks %26amp; Recreation department) and unless you are down to the wire, it's not too late to join a church with a liberal alcohol policy and a big basement.
But in all candor, a back yard is going to be your very best bet.
If you have no access to someone's yard or home, then you're going to have to reconsider alcohol. That opens up parks and recreation areas that are simple to reach, have ample parking, cook-out facilities, and best of all, no fee. Don't overlook your local zoo, either! (Not the zoo itself, but lots of them have picnic areas just outside.)
And think about moving your wedding to the morning - nobody's expecting a beer before lunch. :)

You might want to write directly to personel managers in the various 5* hotels and send them your resume first and see if you get any response. Call them as well to get info. After that, if you still want to make a trip, then do so.
